Details
Crafted by Celler Solano de Menorca in the most enchanting of the Balearic Islands, Sa Forana Menorca Blanc wine comes from the village of Sant Climent, in the southern part of the island.
This blended Spanish white wine is made basically from Chardonnay, sourced from the oldest estate vineyards, complemented with a small amount of the local white variety Premsal Blanc. Both are grown in limestone soils, a fact that, together with the proximity to the Mediterranean sea, results in a wine with an attractively mineral and saline character.
Manually harvested and meticulously selected, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. After that, Sa Forana Menorca Blanc 2022 was briefly aged in new French oak barrels to give it a rounder and richer mouthfeel.
Finally, this white wine from Menorca was bottled and aged for a further months until its commercial release.
