A household name from DO Rías Baixas, the wine Santiago Ruiz is made from Albariño (main variety), Loureiro, Caíño Blanco, Treixadura and Godello, a most interesting combination of Galician native varieties.
Produced by the Santiago Ruiz winery, the grapes were sourced from vineyards located in Valle de Salnés. After a short cold-maceration, the grapes were gently pressed and separately fermented in stainless steel tanks. Before this Spanish white wine was blended, each wine was aged on lees for some weeks.
After that, the wine Santiago Ruiz Albariño 2023 was blended and aged for some months before hitting the market.
