Produced by Bodegas Murviedro from old Bobal vineyards, the wine Sericis Cepas Viejas Bobal comes from DO Utiel-Requena.

The grapes were picked by hand, destemmed and gently crushed. Then this varietal Spanish red wine was macerated and vinified in stainless steel tanks.

After the completion of alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, the wine Sericis Cepas Viejas Bobal 2020 was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for about 8 months. The wine was filtered and stabilized before bottling.

Appearance	The red wine Sericis Cepas Viejas Bobal is medium purple with some maroon tinges.
Nose	Nice varietal aromas, typical of the Bobal variety. Red berries and liquorice, with bitter herbs, flowers, spices and a blood-ferrous remembrance.
Palate	Lively and crisp, this vegan wine of Bodegas Murviedro is very structured, as is usually the case with Bobal wines. Still, this is by no means a fruit bomb. Ripe tannins and a long finish with smokey and earthy remembrances.
Our personal opinion	Cheerful, but not banal, the red wine Sericis Cepas Viejas Bobal 2020 shows that Bobal is a variety worth delving into.
