White Wine Sericis Cepas Viejas Merseguera 2022
Availability: In stock
A varietal Spanish white wine from DO Valencia, the wine Sericis Cepas Viejas Merseguera is made solely from the rare native white variety Merseguera, which has been successfully recovered for wine production.
Produced by Bodegas Murviedro, the grapes are sourced from old vineyards with clay-limestone soils and planted between 150 and 200 metres above sea level, in an area which gets lots of sunlight throughout the year, and even more so during the ripening season.
Hand-picked and selected, the grapes were vinified with the carbonic maceration technique and, after a gentle pressing, completed alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels. After maturing for 3 months with one weekly stirring, this white wine from Valencia was transferred into stainless steel tanks.
Finally, the white wine Sericis Cepas Viejas Merseguera 2022 was aged for for a further 3 months on lees in the tanks with one weekly stirring of the lees.
Pair this vegan white wine with rice recipes, shrimp, salads and light dishes.
