Whisky Suntory Hakushu 18

The whisky Suntory Hakushu 18 is produced by the famous Hakushu distillery in the very heart of the Minami Alps, a beautiful mountainous region in south Japan known for its unspoiled, pristine environment and for the purity of the water.

The winner of countless international awards and distinctions, this super premium 18 year old Whisky is one of the best creations of the second master blender, Mr. Keizo Saji. The meticulous crafting and maturation process took place in one of the few whisky distilleries in the world sitting over 700 metres above sea level.

This Single Malt Japanese Whisky is medium gold with some amber-coloured reflections. The nose of this 18 year old Whisky shows the distinctively original personality of the Hakushu Whisky. Amazingl richness and complexity, with some smokey, grassy and minty suggestions, intertwined with aromas of ripe pear and lychee, as well as hints of black tea, jasmine and orange blossom. The palate of the whisky Suntory Hakushu 18 is full of detail and nuance, with chocolate, spices, custard and dry fruit. This 18 year old Single Malt has a very long finish with some mineral, herbal and orchard fruit remembrances.
