Whisky Talisker 10 Years Old

The whisky Talisker 10 Year Old is the flagship product of the Talisker distillery, the oldest on the island of Skye. Defined by its sea-salty and peated character, this whisky has been produced in its windswept maritime home since 1830.

Meticulously crafted and fermented twice in copper stills, this Skye whisky matured for a minimum of 10 years in American oak casks.

Visually compelling, the whisky Talisker 10 Year Old is brilliant gold with some amber-ish reflections. The nose of this Single Malt Whisky is rich and characteristic, with a peppery and smokey note combined with remembrances of vanilla and cedar, underpinned by hints of sea salt water and oyster shells. The palate of this Single Malt from Skye suggests citrus, sweet spices and dried bone fruit, with a dash of malted barley and a long, gently warm, sweet-peppery finish.
