Appearance |
The red wine Tempus is medium purple with a violet rim. |
Nose |
This blend Syrah, Grenache and Carignan smells of juicy black fruit, with some toasted notes and hints of cinnamon and clove over a mineral and balsamic background. |
Palate |
Gentle and meaty, this wine of the Altavins winery has a delicately warm core and a silky body. Fruit is skilfully balanced with the wooden notes, acidity is crisp and tannins are lively and pleasant. Long finish with remembrances of ripe fruit, balsam, flowers and cocoa. |
Our personal opinion |
An expressive Mediterranean red, the wine Tempus 2021 is wonderfully drinkable and nicely priced. |
