Sourced from Grenache vineyards with limestone soils at 800 metres of altitude, the wine Terra d'Uro Picio Garnacha - formerly known as Terra d'Uro Garnacha Tinta - is a varietal Spanish red wine briefly aged in oak from bodega Hacienda Terra d'Uro.
Situated in Venialbo, DO Toro, the over 45-year-old vines were hand-harvested and gently pressed with the stems. Alcoholic fermentation occcurred spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, and the process took 21 days to complete.
After that, the red wine Terra d'Uro Picio Garnacha 2022 was aged for 4 months in American oak barrels. Finally, it was bottled and aged for a further months before being released onto the market.
