Whisky The Hakushu Single Malt Japanese Distiller's Reserve
Availability: In stock
Produced by the Hakushu Distillery, founded in 1973 and currently a branch of the Suntory group, the whisky Hakushu Single Malt Japanese Distiller's Reserve is produced in the deepest forests of Mt. Kaikomagatake, in the Minami Alps region, located in the south of Japan.
Produced with water of exceptional purity in one of the few distilleries in the world sitting over 700 metres above sea level, the Hakushu whisky has a particular crispness and a distinctive herbal character. Both features set them apart from most Single Malt whiskies, both in Japan and abroad.
This Single Malt Japanese Whisky is light gold with some amber-coloured reflections. The nose of the whisky Hakushu Single Malt Japanese Distiller's Reserve is grassy and lively, carrying aromas of peppermint, cucumber, green melon and spices. On the palate, this Single Malt from Japan is gently sweet, smooth and very fresh, with a long, gently smokey finish and an aftertaste of herbs and flowers.
