The respected Torelló winery, a member of the Corpinnat association of producers, presents the sparkling wine Torelló Ancestral ANL/21, the first Torelló wine produced using the méthode ancestrale.
A blend of 73% Xarel·lo and 27% Macabeo, this Spanish sparkling wine is entirely sourced form certified organic vines located in the Can Martí estate, owned by the Torelló family since the XIVth century.
The grapes were hand-harvested and gently pressed with the Inertys system, which prevents premature oxidation. Blended before going through fermentation, this organic sparkling wine form Penedès subsequently started the process in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts.
Following the ancestral method, the sparkling wine Torelló Ancestral ANL/21 completed the alcoholic fermentation in the bottle.
After that, this Corpinnat brut nature Pétillant Naturel was aged for 36 months before being disgorged on the date printed on the back label.
This blended organic Pét-Nat successfully explores a new and fascinating side of Penedès' sparklers.

Palate | Exquisitely crafted, richly layered and energetic, this sparkling wine of bodega Torelló has a poise that is seldom found in Pét-Nats. Small, palate-caressing bubbles, steely acidity and some compelling mineral and earthy undertones. Terroir-transparent, this ancestral organic sparkling wine has a long, elegant finish. |
