Produced by bodega Torelló, a founding member of the Corpinnat association of producers, the sparkling wine Torelló Finca Can Martí Brut has its origins in the Can Martí estate, a piece of land located in Gelida, Alt Penedès, which has belonged to the Torelló family since the XIVth century.
This blended Spanish sparkling wine consists of 38% Xarel·lo, 32% Chardonnay, 17% Macabeo and 13% Parellada, sourced from vineyards with clay-limestone soils farmed following certified organic techniques.
Sorted on site, each grape variety was separately fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then this Corpinnat organic sparkling wine was blended and went through secondary fermentation in the bottle.
Finally, the sparkling wine Torelló Finca Can Martí Brut 2019 was aged for 40 months minimum, after which it was disgorged on the date printed on the back label.
This Corpinnat brut from Penedès will be an excellent choice for accompanying a multi-course meal.
