White Wine Tros Blanc Saleres 2017
Availability: In stock
The compelling wine Tros Blanc Saleres is the flagship Spanish white wine of the prestigious winemaker Alfredo Arribas. It is a Burgundy-style Grand Cru, born in one of Montsant's absolute best terroirs.
This varietal White Grenache is sourced from a single plot - called "Tros" in the Catalan language - planted with 70-year-old, low-yielding vines. The vineyard is located near the village of El Masroig, at 325 metres of altitude, in the very heart of DO Montsant.
The grapes were harvested by hand in little boxes and subsequently fermented in 500-litre French oak barrels.
After that, this white wine from Montsant was aged for 10 months on lees in the barrels.
The age-worthy white wine Tros Blanc Saleres 2017 should definitely improve in the bottle.
Decant this Crianza white wine 1 hour before drinking.
Appearance | The white wine Tros Blanc Saleres is pale yellow with some golden tinges. |

Nose | A wine worthy of some serious attention, this White Grenache has a multilayered and nuanced nose. Very pure aromas of white fruit and bone fruit, with a some flecks of white flowers, Mediterranean garrigue, deep menthol and spicy remembrances, and a mineral and earthy note. |
Palate | Fresh, bold and full of potential, this white wine of Alfredo Arribas carries loads of information in the process of coming together. Citrus and peaches, a hint of balsam and flowers, a note of underbrush, and remembrances of earth, dry fruit and honey. Great acidity, intrincate texture and remarkable breadth. This Montsant white wine has a long finish with a gently bitter and deeply mineral note. |
Our personal opinion | Complex and rewarding, the wine Tros Blanc Saleres 2017 is perfect for a special occasion. |
