Red Wine Vespres 2022
Availability: In stock
Produced by Josep Grau Viticultor, Vespres is an impeccable Spanish red wine from DO Montsant.
It is made from a blend of Grenache and Carignan, sourced from 50 to 70-year-old, low-yielding vineyards, and Syrah, coming from 15-year-old vineyards. Composed of clay-limestone soils, the organic and biodynamically farmed vineyards, which cover an area of 8 hectares, are located in Capçanes, Marçà and Pla de Falset.
Harvested in 10-kg. boxes, the grapes were destemmed and fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts. After pressing the grapes, half of this Crianza red wine went back to the concrete diposits and the other half went into 2,500-litre Stockinger oak vats. Both were aged for period of 10 months, after which the red wine Vespres 2022 was aged for 10 months before being bottled.
Aerae this red wine from Montsant some time before drinking.
27,040 bottles produced.
