Champagne Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2012 Brut
Availability: Out of stock
This is the latest vintage of the exclusive Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé Brut, one of the most appreciated wines of Maison Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin.
Incidentally, this rosé Champagne is only produced in exceptional vintages.
Made from a blend of 51% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, the grapes were sorted exclusively from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. To enhance the colour and structure of this Vintage Champagne, the base wine was added a 11% of a Pinot Noir red wine coming from a Grand Cru vineyard, previously aged in wooden vats.
After a traditional and meticulous vinification, the rosé Champagne Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2012 Brut was aged for a minimum of 5 years in the cellar.
This Champagne shows the distinctive personality of the Maison founded by the legendary Madame Clicquot in 1818.
Appearance | The Champagne Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé Brut is bright salmon with some greyish tinges. |

Nose | Expressive and immensely refined, this blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay is packed with strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants, underpinned by notes of violets, honey and bitter herbs, seguing into figs, sweet bread and candied fruit. |
Palate | Smooth, textured and luscious, this rosé Champagne of Maison Veuve Clicquot Vintage is fruit-driven and amazingly fresh. This is by no means a cerebral Champagne; on the contrary, it conveys sheer, unadulterated drinking pleasure. Amazingly long finish, leaving an aftertaste of wild berries. |
Our personal opinion | Simply fabulous, Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2012 Brut is an irresistible rosé Champagne. |
