Details
Despite of its being aged for more than 3 years in wooden vats, the wine Viña Cubillo is actually the entry-level Spanish red wine of the legendary winery R. López Heredia – Viña Tondonia from DOCa Rioja.
A classic Rioja blend, it is made basically from Tempranillo and Grenache, with a dollop of Mazuela (Carignan) and Graciano.
Harvested was carried out gradually, according to the ripeness level of each plot. Once in the cellar, the grapes were vinified in stainless steel tanks. After that, the wine Viña Cubillo Crianza 2016 was aged for 3 years in wooden vats with two yearly rackings.
Clarified with egg whites before bottling, this Crianza red wine was finally aged for 24 months in the bottle before hitting the market.
it is advisable to aerate this red wine from La Rioja 30 minutes before drinking.

This wine is not only cheap. It is excellent. A crossbreed of Bordeaux and Burgundy.
