Details
A varietal Tinta del País (Tempranillo), the wine Viña Sastre Crianza is sourced from 60-year-old vines planted on several parcels across the province of Burgos. The vineyards are located on the banks of the Duero river, at an altitude around 815 metres above sea level
Harvested at dawn, the grapes were selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Then they were gently crushed, and after that this Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero was fermented and macerated with the skins.
Finally, the wine Viña Sastre Crianza 2021 was aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels. During that period, the wine was racked three times.
