We are proud to present the 2012 vintage of the wine Viña Tondonia Blanco Reserva, one of the most sought-after wines of legendary R. López de Heredia-Viña Tondonia winery.
Typically, this Spanish white wine is made from a blend of Viura and Malvasia (10%) grapes coming from centenary vineyards located in La Rioja.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were destemmed and subsequently fermented and macerated in huge wooden vats. After that, this Reserva white wine was aged for 72 months, that is, 6 years, with 2 annual rackings, in used American oak barrels. Then the wine was clarified with egg whites and bottled unfiltered.
Finally, the wine Viña Tondonia Blanco Reserva 2012 was further aged for a long period of time in the cellar before its commercial release.
We suggest that you aerate this white wine from La Rioja at least 30 minutes before you drink it.

Magnificent
I can only compare this white wine with some great white Burgundies. The difference is that this ages much better, with no premox problems.
