Tequila Volcán de mi Tierra Reposado

The Volcán de mi Tierra distillery, a branch of the French luxury giant Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, crafts the tequila Volcán de mi Tierra Reposado from the best blue weber agave plants grown in the Jalisco highlands.

After cooking the agave piñas in autoclave ovens for 9 days, this tequila from México was fermented in open tanks with rum yeasts and then distilled twice in copper stills. This tequila reposado was subsequently aged in Europe and and American oak barrels for about 4 months. After making the final blend, it was filtered and stabilized before bottling.

Amber-coloured with some golden reflections, the tequila Volcán de mi Tierra Reposado carries aromas of ripe peach and apricot, with hints of pineapple syrup, blackcurrants, flowers and dry fruit. On the palate, this tequila from Jalisco is smooth and inviting, with some smokey and toasted nuances and a long finish with an aftertaste of citrus, honey and tobacco.
