GlenAllachie Distillery is one of the best Scotch whiskey distilleries.
Headed by the master blender Billy Walker, a prestigious figure with more than 50 years of experience in the trade, GlenAllachie in one the few independent distilleries remaining in Scotland. Located on the foothills of the Ben Rinnes mountain, which provides the company with the purest spring water, the company facilities contain 4 copper stills and over 50,000 oak casks.
The product portfolio of the GlenAllachie Distillery includes Single Malt and Single Barrel Whiskies, as well as Whiskies aged in Virgin Oak Casks and in ex-Sherry barrels. Just to name one, GlenAllachie 12 Single Malt is a mid range Whisky which perfectly encapsultes the GlenAllachie spirit.
In 2019, the GlenAllachie Distillery was voted Scottish Distillery of the Year at the inaugural Scottish Whisky Awards.
