Quevall
Young spirits producer located in the northernmost part of Catalonia.
The young Quevall Distillery was founded in 2019 by Isaac Castelló and Pilar Martínez, who up to then had developed their professional careers, respectively, in the banking and health sectors.
Passionate about herbalism, chemistry and spirit production, Isaac and Pilar opened the distillery in Llançà, a village overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and swept by a mighty nothern wind called tramuntana. The village is situated in the northernmost part of Catalonia, near Cap de Creus, a magical, dream-like landscape depicted in many of Salvador Dalí’s most famous paintings.
Located in a refurbished XIth century building previously used a workshop, the Quevall Distillery produces a wide range of spirits using only the best locally sourced ingredients and exquisitely traditional methods. Despite its short history, Quevall has quickly become one of Catalonia’s most appreciated liquor and distillate producers.
