Tobermory

The Tobermory Distillery is a Scotch whiskey distillery located on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.

Formerly known as Ledaig, the Tobermory distillery is located in the namesake town in the Island of Mull.

The only distillery of the island, and also one of the oldest ones in Scotland, the company passed through many hands over the years. Nowadays, this Mull distillery is owned by Burn Stewart Distillers, a subsidiary of the Distell Group Limited from South Africa.

The best-known product of Tobermory Distillery is Tobermory 12 Single Malt a Scotch whisky which, unlike the also famed Ledaig, is made from unpeated malt. Both whiskies are made with the same spring water and in the same copper stills.
