Bodegas Habla

Bodegas Habla

Bodegas Habla has put the region of Extremadura on the Spanish wine map.

On the Northwest border of Andalusia, Extremadura is a land of great natural beauty and remarkable winemaking potential that, contrary to other Spanish wine regions, has not yet succeeded in conveying a clear sense of local identity. Thus, one of the main objectives behind the creation of Bodegas Habla was precisely that of uncovering the potential of hitherto neglected wine region to the consumer public.

The company owns a respectable portion of land: 200 hectares of grapevines, divided into 68 plots with very poor soils mainly composed of slate. Farming is sustainable and environmentally friendly, in transition to organic. The Bodegas Habla winery employs state-of-the-art technology.

The red wines of Bodegas Habla are made from Tempranillo, which provides the local character, and a number of international varieties: the elegant Cabernet Sauvignon, the exuberant Syrah and the characterful Petit Verdot, with small amounts of Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
Fragrant and expressive, the white wines of Bodegas Habla are made from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
