Can Serra dels Exibis Viticultors

Located in the town of Navàs and run by the Cots Family, Can Serra dels Exibis winery was one of the first companies to implement biodynamic practices in DO Pla de Bages, working the soil with minimal intervention techniques and adjusting all of the agricultural operations to the lunar calendar.

Coherently, a crucial aspect of Can Serra dels Exibis' site-specific and environmentally conscious approach to viticulture is the recovery of Pla de Bages' rich heritage of indigenous varieties, such as Sumoll, Mandó, Picapoll Blanc and Picapoll Negre.

Light-bodied and hugely aromatic, the Mandó grape is a key element of Can Serra dels Exibis' wines. However, since it has not still been recognised by the regulatory board of the DO Pla de Bages, it does not feature on the wines' labels.
