Gutiérrez Colosía

Gutiérrez Colosía

Bodega Gutiérrez-Colosía has been producing some excellent fortified wines since 1838.

The list is long: Fino, Oloroso, Cream, Amontillado, Pedro Ximénez, Moscatel Soleado, Palo Cortado... Wonderfully evocative names which immediately bring to mind the sunny landscapes of Andalusia and its unique wines.

Founded in 1838 by D. José Gutiérrez Dorsal, Bodega Gutiérrez-Colosía still belongs to the Gutiérrez Family. The main building of the company is a fine example of industrial architecture, with high vaults that allow for the continuous circulation of the air coming from the sea, a key factor in the production of traditional Andalusian wines. The facilities are located at the Bay of Cádiz, near the mouth of the Guadalete River.

The Gutiérrez Colosía winery produces fortified wines exclusively from local varieties, such as Palomino, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel.
