Inurrieta

The Bodegas Inurrieta winery was founded in 1999 with the introduction of the first vineyard in the municipality of Falces, an autonomous region within the Navarra. Despite the fact that this winery started in 1999, the Inurrieta family founded this winery after over one century of winemaking experience in their family. The Inurrieta family moved to this region of the Navarra as they believed it would be the perfect terroir for their wines. They chose this location for its topography and ideal micro-climate for grape cultivation. This Inurrieta winery is surrounded by its own vineyards which helps their vinification process as the grapes are very quickly and effectively transported to this winery after their harvest so that they arrive at the Bodegas Inurrieta in their perfect condition.

All of the aged red wines of Inurrieta winery pass through French or American oak barrels. These crianza aged red wines rest in these barrels for time spans from 6 months (as a minimum) to 15 months for this winery. The white wines by Inurrieta winery are all crafted from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. These wines are fermented in their lees between four and eight months, and their last stage of ageing is realized in French oak barrels.

The wines of the Bodegas Inurrieta winery are a clear expression of their terroir, and they are very pleasant, well-rounded, well-balanced, and silky wines.
