Terra de Vinyaters

Born respectively in Marçà and Falset, Consol and Albert, a couple with deep family roots in the Montsant region, started what will eventually become the Terra de Vinyaters winery in 2008. The product porfolio of the winery currently comprises four wines, all made from estate-grown grapes sourced from several organically certified vineyards located in DO Montsant.

The debut release of bodega Terra de Vinyaters was the red wine Finca Fontanals, a blend of Grenache, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The white Finca Fontanals Blanc, made from White Grenache and Macabeo, was released a few years later.

Interestingly, bodega Terra de Vinyaters also mades two small-batch kosher wines, one white and one red, both of which are called Halleluya! The white is an old-vines varietal Macabeo sourced from over 70-year-old vineyards. The red is made from Carignan with a droplet of Grenache, subsequently aged in oak barrels for 15 months.

Besides its wine portfolio, the Terra de Vinyaters winery also offers wine tourism activities in the heart of beautiful Montsant.
