Terroir sense Fronteres

The project of bodega Terroir al Límit in DO Montsant.

After producing some of DOQ Priorat’s most critically acclaimed and sought-after wines in bodega Terroir al Límit, German-born Dominik Huber, founder and head of the winery, launched the first vintage of the Terroir sense Fronteres winery, his project in the neighbouring DO Montsant, in 2018.

The wines of Terroir sense Fronteres are produced following the same standards that have given worldwide fame to bodega Terroir al Límit: early harvest, moderate alcohol content and minimalistic vinifications in stainless steel, concrete or terracotta diposits. Extractions are always very gentle, and neither oak nor any sort wood is used at any stage of the process, with the aim of letting the outstanding Montsant terroir shine through in the most transparent manner. The goal is to make wines that are able to combine a world-class elegance and finesse with an uncompromisingly local character.

Despite its being a very young project, the wines of the Terroir sense Fronteres winery are alread considered to be among the finest in DO Montsant, as proven by the scores some of the world’s best critics have awarded to them.
