Red Wine Yaso 2021
Availability: In stock
Produced in the DO Toro, Yaso departs from the typically bold and muscular Spanish red wine produced in the region.
The wine is a varietal Tinta de Toro wine made from young, about 15-year-old vines located in the heart of the Toro region.
Produced by the Compañía de Viñedos Iberian, also owners of the Viñas del Jaro winery, this red wine was traditionally crafted and vinified. Alcoholic fermentation lasted 14 days, followed by a 9-day skin maceration.
Prior to its bottling, Yaso 2021 was aged for 4 months in French oak barrels.
This is a yummy, approachable Toro red wine.
Appearance | The red wine Yaso is medium purple with a garnet rim. |

Nose | Intense aromas of cherries, flowers and blackcurrants, combined with spices, balsam, aniseed, dry earth and menthol. This is a fragrant Tinta de Toro. |
Palate | Yummy and well-balanced, this wine of Viñas del Jaro carries juicy black fruit, liquorice and spices. Crisp acidity, crunchy tannins and long finish with some earthy and balsamic notes. |
Our personal opinion | Nicely drinkable, Yaso 2021 is an excellent value from Toro produced by Vinos Iberian. |
